If done right, we can replace the oligarchs.

Unfortunately a lot of "Christians" in this country unwittingly worship the devil. Woke churches are not Christian.

28
FullAutoFlintlock 28 points ago +31 / -3

But they fly faggot banners, Jesus said love everyone without condition, or something. come on goy.. do it for Jesus

23
Fap-Meister 23 points ago +24 / -1

This type of shit infuriates me. My ex was raised "methodist" at some woke church in Grand Rapids. She used to drop "forget and forgive" probably the weakest statement ive ever heard in my entire life. I'm agnostic, but do attend church because the community aspect and everyone there shares my morals and political beliefs.

19
mct1 19 points ago +19 / -0

The only response that "forget and forgive" shit deserves is: "Forgiveness belongs to he who is contrite for his sins, renders penance, and SINS NO MORE." Anything less isn't christian.

7
Latin_Patriot_MAGA 7 points ago +8 / -1

"forgetting" and "forgiving" is misinterpreted by "soft Christians."

If that were applied, Jesus would have forgiven and forgotten what Judas did, but he did not forget or forgive.

Judas is doomed in hell for being a traitor among the disciples.

4
krzyzowiec 4 points ago +4 / -0

He did forgive Judas.

You attend church because God attends to you. Attend to your spirit before its too late.

Hey I only have positive things to say about MY CHURCH. When it clicks it will click forcing something thats not there only pushes people away

4
FullAutoFlintlock 4 points ago +5 / -1

Independent Baptist churches are pretty based and teach the only English Bible. KJV.

2
Husky 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you know the history of the KJV?

3
Moriartis 3 points ago +3 / -0

So I'm an atheist, but me and my wife want to start going to church when we get settled in a redder state (we move in like 2 weeks). We want a community and want to be surrounded by people with similar values. Do you have any recommendations or advice about finding a church or what to watch out for?

4
krzyzowiec 4 points ago +4 / -0

It would be hard to find a good one.

I would look for a place where people talk about real issues instead of merely praising God, where the pastor does not shy away from difficult subjects, and especially one where women are not in charge.

It’s nice to read from the Bible, but do they connect it to modern day events? You want something you can benefit from in your own life, not some abstract thing where the preacher is just reminding you what is in the Bible and collecting your tithe.

1
Kpstyles 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ve had good experiences at non denominational churches.

2
krzyzowiec 2 points ago +2 / -0

We should forgive, as Christians. Forgiveness and forgetting are the same thing.

That doesn’t mean turning a blind eye towards evil. It only means don’t hate them for what they do.

4
FAhayek 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ayn Rand rightfully tears into “Altruism” and the negative effects of a society consumed by it. I’m a Christian but she makes sense. If Jesus turned his cheek on anything, i doubt it was to make friends rather than show on full display the actions carried out by bad actors if given the opportunity. He always gave a choice and let the actions speak for themselves.

2
FullAutoFlintlock 2 points ago +3 / -1

Jesus spoke as a man that knew what waited and used His actions to convey the point to us pitiful, sinful mortals. He already knew what was coming he already knew the results of all the interactions he had. We don't have that luxury. CS Lewis talks about "love thy neighbor" in a way that many Christians have absolutely forgotten.

2
krzyzowiec 2 points ago +2 / -0

The lesson is that you cannot be good without God. We don’t even know what morality is.

3
krzyzowiec 3 points ago +3 / -0

Love would be telling them that they are degenerate and should repent.

"Hey man, Jesus only gave us like, one commandment, bro, which is to be vaguely nice to each other. As long as you're vaguely nice according to the cultural standards of the time period we live in and completely ignore the Bible, you're doing a hecking wholesome Christianity ☺"

2

That's really true, I was hoping that one of the results of the covid lockdowns would be false, watered-down churches closing their doors.

Not a religious person, but I did just pull my money from JP Morgan + Chase and put it into a local credit union. Not even as a boycott thing anymore, it just made more financial sense to me now that many here recommended it and when I looked it up 0.01% or 0.15% Choice was easy.

14
mct1 14 points ago +14 / -0

This. PLEASE. Find your local credit union and pull your money out of commercial banks. Let them fucking starve.

So. its about % return not your feelings. hate money? I dont care thats your problem

12
tabularasa_556 12 points ago +12 / -0

I value freedom more than money and it's not even close. What's the % return when the potato half those companies helped force into office crashes the dollar?

-7
FullAutoFlintlock -7 points ago +2 / -9

Did that happen? Does it look like it is? Stop being a delusional sheep. Trump wasn't what we hoped and we are on our own. There is too much money in the world for the stock market to crash now like it did. But since you're a market genius I'm sure you'll be fine them with that .15%.. lol

Its called hedging and making money for yourself for Real freedom. Hows that"freedom" over money working out so far. lol. I got fuck you money from playing their dirty jew tricks, I thank them for that freedom.. make me less free? Sure thing.

1
tabularasa_556 1 point ago +1 / -0

Does it look like it is?

He's printing trillions and that's usually a good indication. The only reason it hasn't is because the dollar is the world currency but there's nothing that says that can't change when the US is in an unfathomable amount of debt and the trust that any of it will ever be paid collapses.

I've been making decent returns investing in companies that don't want to enslave me, and crypto. I don't know what your definition of 'fuck you money' is, but mine isn't something that can be achieved with retail investor money in SPY.

2
FullAutoFlintlock 2 points ago +3 / -1

Trump spent more so far, maybe with a brighter economic future, its all psychological. The US is in an unfathomable amount of debt has been for a decade.

The problem is that, despite that there are still a lot of Christians in the United States, they’re not exactly “Christians” who understand the fight ahead. Way too many BLM, pro-immigrant, pro-LGBTQ, soft people who have grown to like rolling over as their enemies literally decapitate them.

“ 34“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. 37Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”

Matthew 10:34-39

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’" -- Matthew 7:21-23

It is not hard to come up with a list of companies to avoid. It's more difficult to come up with a list of companies to actually invest in. For us to change company behavior we need to not only boycott, but invest accordingly. Conservatives control trillions of assets in retirement accounts yet most of us blindly invest in funds that further enrich woke companies.

The closest I have come across is Timothy Plan investments, which has mutual funds that include Biblically responsible companies. However, in looking through their ETF holdings they also include some that have recently gone woke. Their management fees are also slightly higher than regular index funds.

If anyone knows of other funds or even just a list of good companies I would love to know.

UrTVisLying2U 5 points ago +5 / -0

It goes beyond where you spend your money. Ad revenue, internet traffic, all of it. Rip the band aid off and at the very least minimize your business with these companies.

5
ikuyas 5 points ago +5 / -0

He should fucking start putting ads on Gab so that we can market our products to those who want to spend money with us. Conservatives cannot get away with Facebook because they have a business to support, and spend tens of thousands a year. If many of the businesses allocate the funds to Gab, then it can build even better infrastructure fast.

A lot of people call themselves Christians but don't live for Christ. Matthew 7: 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

2
RosettaStone 2 points ago +2 / -0

I want to agree with Torba here.

But I worry that if we ever started to take back control, they would create a crisis, like a fake pandemic, and use it to destroy small businesses and the middle class, while propping up globalist corporations, and leaving us with no choice but to deal with them.

Nah. That could never happen. Forget I said anything.

2
CJBarnacle 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you know who they are, then you know how to stop it. You just need the will to act.

2

2

Andrew Torba should stop thinking that Christians are a monolith. There are a shit-ton of Christians that go along with the left because they say the "nicest" things and that's what Jesus totally wants.

1
krzyzowiec 1 point ago +1 / -0

Worth a shot, but the big boys are pretty much untouchable because the Deep State will simply prop them up via taxation if it comes to that. Like in 08/09. Or shutting down their competitors like the last year.

The Deep State will not allow companies to lose out as a result of backing whatever the Deep State’s current play is. If they did then companies would hesitate to push their agenda next time around.

So those people might be "Christians", but they aren't Christians like Andrew Torba is a Christian.

I agree but we don't have a Christian grocery store

1
unashamed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Try to find a local market. You may even need to split shopping between different stores: baker, butcher, grocer.

We have a church friend that runs a few rural stores in locations that were put out of business by Walmart. They’re actually gaining customers back from Walmart, because the locals don’t have to travel as far anymore. They see the value of having a store in their town again.

2
GOPkilledTHEMSELVES 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lots of Christians with superficial knowledge, but the Gospel never made it to their heart. Any time they hear a message encouraging them to be more Christ like, they immediately think the preacher is talking about the person in the pew next to them, and never them.

I say this knowing that I will always have room for improvement through the Holy Spirit
