The letter writer remembers all the stuff the Democrats did, fine.

But I remember most of all what the Republicans did, while all this was happening.

Yup, never forget Reagan signed 1986 Hughes into law (I understand it had a lot of good stuff in it and is why we can buy ammo online but they should have pushed for a clean bill.) and along with Bush Sr. Signed a letter supporting an AWB around 1994.
