I'd ignore it. If pressed, plead the 5th and tell your boss to speak to your lawyer because he has some documents for you to sign.

13
The_General_Patton 13 points ago +14 / -1

Also, "Can you guarantee our safety -- both yours and mine -- if I get this thing and it goes South?"

"Indemnify and hold you harmless for any vaccine injury."

Push back!

Pretty sure it's not legal to ask those questions.

4
gustodog 4 points ago +4 / -0

It isn't and they likely know it. Politely maintain that medical issues and treatment are private matters and Medi Al privacy is legal protected.

This is some hot trash right here. Reply all and ask if this company has the authority to violate HIPPA laws...

16
Diotima [S] 16 points ago +16 / -0

I'm also not comfortable that the vaccine companies are immune from liability for adverse side effects. I have a bad history with shots and prefer not to get them. I passed and had a seizure last flu shot I got over a decade ago.

10
msimmons87 10 points ago +10 / -0

My neighbor got a flu shot year or 2 ago and within a few days she had fainted due to the symptoms caused by the vaccine and broker her back. She went from walking a few miles every day around town picking up trash to barely getting around with a walker. All because she believed in the sCiEnCe.

7
Belleoffreedom 7 points ago +7 / -0

You have a genuine medical reason not to take the shot.

Be ready to treat this illness when you get it. Take your D, C, and a multivitamin with trace zinc and selenium on a daily basis. Be ready to take higher dose zinc plus an ionophore (Quercetin is over-the-counter).

Talk to your doctor, so you can have early outpatient treatment (antibody treatment, inhaled corticosteroids, etc. readily available.

Prepare, and then also enjoy your freedom from colds and flu.

NotAPuma 6 points ago +6 / -0

Just tell them you are vaccinated. If they inquire further tell them you've gotten your Polio Vaccine or whatever. Just don't lie.

5
Diotima [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah lying about anything in my job is pretty serious.... involving clearance issues. If I knowingly lied about anything it may come to bite me in the ass.

I just told her I wasn't vaccinated...that I wasn't opposed to vaccines just more cautious...and that I was planning on the J&J vaccine nearby at a pharmacy "within the next month"...

5
FullAutoFlintlock 5 points ago +5 / -0

this was the wrong answer

3
NotAPuma 3 points ago +3 / -0

Looks like that Pharmacy is going to be closed, too bad ;)

4
DarthJoshiahis 4 points ago +5 / -1

In the Corps, they always gave us a 100% mandatory flu shot over a three day weekend. And guess what- I caught the flu every time.

2
FTR22 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are on the right track with these BS shots, stay as far away from them as possible.

3
GodDamnedEngineer 3 points ago +4 / -1

I WOULD IGNORE IT AND START PREPARING MY RESUME. COMPANIES MAKE LISTS FOR REASONS. THEY ARE CONSIDERING MAKING THE VACCINE MANDATORY AND WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY DONT ELIMINATE THE SQUARE ROOT PEOPLE IN THE PROCESS.

3
Imransgarage 3 points ago +3 / -0

Doubt it's hippa but probably some employee rights law.

15
bizeesheri 15 points ago +15 / -0

My daughter's company is pulling this, her boss continually asking her if she has had the vaccination. She has been replying that she doesn't feel comfortable discussing her medical stuff and the boss says ok. Then comes back later and asks again.

These emails have been ongoing since the availability of the vaccinations.

11
Imransgarage 11 points ago +11 / -0

Harassment.

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +4 / -0

Tell her to tell the boss "because of female health reasons". This usually shuts down male bosses on just about any discussion.

"Why were you late today?"

"Female health reasons"

"Oh, carry on then"

1
TwelveMoreYears 1 point ago +1 / -0

What your daughter's employer is doing is illegal. Tell your girl not to put up with that strong-arm shit, and start threatening to sue. They will fold. Bet you that. Read The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

14
women_for_trump 14 points ago +14 / -0

I love it when they ask you why you don't want it. Because "no". That's why. My pediatrician asked me that when I refused the hpv vaccine for my son. I told him "I just don't want him to have it". You don't owe anyone an explanation.

Where does the unshared information go I wonder? Am excel sheet sitting on someone’s desktop that can be accessed on an open internet connection?

Registering people is one of the steps of genocide

9
wethedownvoted 9 points ago +9 / -0

it says the study is confidential with no names, so lie

the question is "have you already been vaccinated?". they don't say vaccinated for what, that's in the next question

5
CrouchingKamala 5 points ago +5 / -0

Seeing as the vaccination is not specified by name in the first question, to answer yes would not be a lie if you'd ever had a vaccination previously and most people have.

8
Freedom4545 8 points ago +8 / -0

That's HIPPA information BTW.

8

7

Respond with “because the vaccine manufacturers hold no liability for adverse reactions, are you as my employer that is providing the vaccine on _______, going to provide indemnity for any adverse reaction or event that may happen after we receive the vaccine?”

7
JimQPublic 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'll take HIPAA violations, for $500, Alex.

7
jubyeonin 7 points ago +7 / -0

They keep changing the rules on HIPAA, so it may not apply anymore, but look into their exceptions by "covid" just in case.

7
KilroyJCNJ 7 points ago +7 / -0

Big HIPPA violation right there for all to see

7
Sick_of_the_bs 7 points ago +7 / -0

Cite HIPPA laws and how it is doctor patient confidentiality...

7
br1337 7 points ago +7 / -0

I hope you realize this is not a vaccine but an experimental gene therapy never before used in humans. Historically in the past for coronavirus it has failed animal trials and this time they skipped it with emergency use authorization.

I repeat your company is asking you about an experimental gene therapy technology never before used in humans. DO NOT TAKE IT. Being worried about losing your job sucks but the alternative is outright dieing from the shot or maiming yourself long term. For a shot that does nothing except harm to you in order to AT BEST have a small chance to reduce symptoms against a cold. Wich by the way they are already pushing yearly shots or every six months shots.

If we were sure we had a functioning DOJ (but we're not), you could contact the Civil Rights Division.

https://civilrights.justice.gov/

You really might want to consider talking to a lawyer about HIPPA and Constitutional Rights violations.

Wow this is getting to be as cool as home schooling my kids. I do not have a job, yet since that covid stuff I been busy as can be, much less if they had an inkling about me I would not get close enough to a doctor to even bother with questions like that. Good luck to all the people that still have Jobs!

5

HIPPA violation

4
E-dantes 4 points ago +4 / -0

But it's okay. Cause you're just a number now

4
slaphappy2 4 points ago +4 / -0

Showing it to a lawyer would be good advice if not too expensive.

4
memepoon 4 points ago +4 / -0

Scared my company will be doing the same here shortly. All they ever talk about during our staff zoom meetings is how wOndErFUL and eFFiciEnT the vaccine rollout has been. I'm thinking to myself, just shut the fuck up.

3
Sir_Girth 3 points ago +3 / -0

We spend half to 3/4 of every meeting on Covid Cult shit. I’ve stopped listening.

I am waiting for them to force it on us. That will be the day I leave. Been preparing for this eventual outcome.

4
Lurking-My-Life-Away 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is a blatant violation of HIPPA laws.

3

Whoever would provide this information is dumb. Strictly confidential information is never handled by e-mail. This is done on purpose because too many people will answer.

Whenever HR or someone else wants you to sign anything that doesn't have to do with your job, decline. Whenever they want to answer anything not relevant to your job, decline. It will be used against you. Don't be a fool.

Looks just like an email my wife got at the school she's a nurse at. She, along with about 4 other people, has access to the list. It has names, dates, reasons, and numbers. They are keeping track of every detail.

2
burndemdems 2 points ago +2 / -0

This puts you on a list. They follow up on the list. You are removed from list. Lie on this form. Tell them you want 3, maybe 4 doses of vaccine. Keep your name off he list.

2
jbDonuts 2 points ago +2 / -0

They're right - it IS strictly confidential information.

2
Magus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Create a new email not associated with you. Respond, easy win. You did as asked and no name was included as they said. Also use a VPN.

2
TwelveMoreYears 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is illegal for anyone (cop, business, employer, etc.) to ask you about your medical information. You DO NOT have to volunteer any of this information. Read The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

I had a similar email for special team I was on (prison setting) asking what our vaccination status was. My reply was: "If I need to disclose the status of my vaccination then I'd like to be removed from the team."
