Nope. The Republicans have a weak majority in the House and Senate. Unless there’s bipartisan support (which there isn’t) this is DOA.
Not to mention half the Republicans in Michigans state gov are a bunch of Rinos. Yah'll have house keeping to do.
So just have to hope that Whitmer loses reelection in 2022 and get a Governor who will sign this.

I didnt exactly like him at the time bit compared to who his replacements have been he was probably the best of the lot.

How do you require ID for absentee voting?
I'd imagine a copy of a tax return or pay stub that confirms your address.
I thought absentee required requesting to do it and verifying your identity at that time, the mail in requires pretty much nothing though
