Nice. I’ve had luck there the first week of May for years, unless flooding shuts it down. Had to leave there for KY Lake once, flooded out there too and went to Patoka for last 1/2 of week.
I wanted to make it down there last year, but the coof didn't give me confidence to make the trip. I didn't want to eat in the truck/parking lots for a week or two. Then by the time it seemed stuff was kind of open, the water was up like 17ft more than normal. So far, it seems the water is normal down there. I've been following this guide, hoping to make a decision soon. I need to gtfoh, this state is depressing.
