200+ cops, 40 vehicles and a helicopter: A church in Edmonton, Canada wouldn’t obey politicians and lock its doors. So they jailed the pastor for 35 days. The church still wouldn’t close. Worth noting... this is more political than it is Biblical. Any true Christian will simply assemble elsewhere. The building isn't the church... the people are the church. Whenever the Jews of the day wanted Jesus to rise up against the Roman occupation, they were let down because Jesus was a pacifist. "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's".

Standing up to the tyranny that has become of the Canadian Govt isn't about God. It's about politics and pride.

Jesus was flipping tables in the Temple. I don't think he'd be all that happy and pacifist about cops turning a house of God into a barracks.
