Why did the end times have to happen in my generation

Seriously... Boomers got to have music, endless wealth, hedonism, fun. All kids today get is debt, slavery, and now, microchips and vaccine passports??? After two thousand years of no end times? I wouldn't be surprised if they literally named their system "beast 1.0" or something.
