If anything Nike is covered by insurance, and what they lose on the balance sheets, they make up for it with BLM Virtue Signaling.
Nike will tolerate an insurance write off to keep those big money sports contracts.
Yep. With a multibillion dollar global empire they can afford to sacrifice a few stores here and there for the cause.
I can tell you where the sacrificial stores are, but I'm not willing to go there.
Though, the problem is that when a Nike store is hit, it jacks up the insurance for everyone in a 5 mile radius. Nike might be able to pay the extra insurance or go in naked. Mom and Pop stores can't.
I guess Mom and Pop better get the AR-10 insurance package with some .308 add-ons. Enjoy a night or two of camping on top of their roofs.
Grocery stores often operate on razor-thin margins. An insurance rate hike could wipe out their entire profit margin.
But muh food deserts are intentionally created by evil rich white people.
That's the thing the bleeding heart types don't realize.
If people keep shoplifting from a store, that store isn't going to exist. If people keep looting and burning the store, eventually they aren't going to bother rebuilding. And after all of this, either there will be no stores selling them stuff, or it will be at vastly inflated prices.
