Honestly, being arrested for rioting should automatically bar you from public assistance and any form of government stimulus.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the insurance companies just refuse to issue policies to those stores at this point. Hopefully the existing policies have exclusions for riots/looting.

You don't think the insurance companies are going to jack the rates to the maximum? They're just as greedy as Nike and far more powerful in many ways. It's not just about making money for these companies, but it's about making more money than last year. You start falling short of your financial forecasts and investors start pulling funds and stock prices drop. This in turn hurts the executives who are compensated with stock options. CEO's get fired over that sort of thing.
