Nike will claim victim status .. insurance. Prolly stocked up Minneapolis stores with 1-2 year old shoe models that they'd have to toss out anyway. This lets Nike claim full insurance on $120/shoe value, instead of writing them off as a loss because they're old models.

Lots of bullshit going on in this fiasco.
