Yeah, looks like he was beginning to cuff then the officer tried to pep talk him for probably tensing up? You just gotta cuff and not screw around? I'm not a cop so I wouldn't know... just putting that opinion out there? and wouldn't you try to separate the person you are arresting to the back of the vehicle so they can't just plop right back down in the driver's seat?

Yeah, when I first saw the video it looked like the cop put his handcuffs on Duante, but after a watch again he didn't get the cuffs on. I think he was simultaneously searching the suspects pockets while trying to put cuffs on him.

First and foremost, the guy who was getting arrested did the worst thing possible, and takes the biggest share of the blame. The office was black too, so he should at least have listened to his "brother" and not been fearful. Bottom line, if you don't want to get shot by police, don't commit crimes then resist and try something stupid like that.
Now to the cops, supposedly they had a warrant, so why were they playing around? The big black cop looked like he was going to cuff, then started tucking his shirt in his back and patting him down before cuffs?
Also, why were they playing around on the street side of the car and squishing up against it like that? Just get the guy out and escort him around to the back, putting yourself between him and the drivers door, then cuff and then search. Since there were three cops, no reason to do it the way they did.
If they would have taken him around back the third cop could have taken the keys out and tossed them in the seat or the hood too.
Another huge point, nothing racist about this at all either, that lady cop just fucked up, and should pay the price for it, whatever that is. I know being a cop can be tough, but that is why they train and clearly she did not train enough.
