That's what it looks like... I wonder if this is a rookie cop that was brought in after the defund the police? They need to shed light on this fast... Idk how you could mistake your duty weapon for a taser...
I made a post below. They stand in shock as the suspect speeds away... I found that bizarre that they wouldn't be in pursuit? I guess just the shock of what just happened?
Increased funding to these departments would make for better employees so stuff like this was less likely to happen. I would also argue this is two-fold. Women, like men, should be able to become police but whether they're physically AND mentally fit should play a large factor in hiring.
Too many obese cops that can't run as fast as the person they're pursuing or being too weak to be able to properly restrain people. And they need to mentally be able to handle their fear and panic. This lady sounds worried and I'd guess was worried about being physically overpowered. That resulted in a huge mistake.
