He precipitated the whole thing by pulling away and trying to drive off instead of facing justice for the robbery/ assault with a stolen pistol. He had a warrant and shoulda just manned up and went to jail.
Just imagine it from this angle: If allowed to drive off in a high speed chase he very likely woulda killed an innocent motorist, the passenger or a bystander. This cop’s “mistake” removed the threat to law abiding citizens going about their day.
