When are these states going to allow teachers to carry on the job? Why are we not demanding that politicians make it legal for teachers to carry on the job? Why are we not using our voice to make these changes and control the narrative?

Because the chances of a negligent discharge occurring is several orders of magnitude more likely than a school shooting.

Letting any idiot with a teaching certificate bring their shiny gun to school is probably 1,000 times more likely to result in a million-dollar settlement after it ends up injuring/killing someone than any chance of it actually being used to save someone's life.

Why do you think businesses prohibit their employees and customers from bringing weapons onto the property? Because if they don't, their insurance rates are going way up. Because insurance companies have studied the data and know what's more likely to happen.

We just saw a video of what happens when a lady cop gets anxious. They accidentally draw their gun instead of the Taser that's on the complete opposite side of their body and then pump a round into a fleeing suspect. That's a cop who is trained to use their weapon as a job.

Imagine how bad things would be if the literal nutcase women working as teachers in most of the USA were allowed to carry a weapon.
