The police have long lost the tactic of "command presence". Now standing around "looking" like a force just gets rocks, and bricks thrown at them. They crowds just laughs at them as ineffective. Over a year ago they should have been busting heads, and shooting some looters. Now it is too late, and they will need to shot to kill, and shot many more to put the lid on tight. Same with the National Guard. This is what happens when you let lawlessness escalate, and escalate into deadly mobs. There comes a reckoning with full deadly force as the only solution !
