I would fervently hope so. But today's Americans are not those who fought in WWII. And so many of our Afghanistan survivors are shot to hell with PTSD.
Too many guys fancy themselves warriors based on playing video games but if it came to real war on domestic soil, there could be some bad surprises. A big problem too is that we have little true organization, and in a conflict, we would lack ability to catch up.
I note that BLM in the 'protests' actually has military organization with a hierarchy and local captains, radio comm, and planning from SUV command sites. We do not have that. And even if we tried to set it up, the FBI monitors a lot. We need to beat the Commies at their game.
