Even patriots in supposedly free states will have a hard time holding out against the hordes unless they have hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase an antique machine gun and stockpiled tens of thousands of rounds and a few spare barrels.
You don't need an armory but build up to about a thousand rounds and cycle through your oldest boxes first when you go to the range. It goes very very fast

At this point I actually wish it was a bit more distance than that, but I'm not too worried about any local fuckery due to the large percentage of armed patriots here in my area. I'm in the process of moving out of my county. My town is fine, but the county no longer prosecutes criminals, and I also don't like being in a blue county, as I may wind up relying on a jury to keep my freedom. Much prefer red jurors.

purchased our first two guns last year have about 100 rounds, I buy them whenever I can find them.
