White House officials have dismissed such worries, saying there’s no evidence higher business taxes would hamper the economy.
Oh! At first I thought the business leaders were talking about taxes on all taxpayers, but they were just worried about business taxes. That makes more sense. They don't give two shits about the people they call consumers.... But wait. If consumers have to pay higher taxes, they will have less money to spend consuming... Oh well.
