I heard Rugar declared bankruptcy, split the company. One company selling arms, the other selling ammo stuff. Threw a large wrench in the primer/reloading supply chain. Supposed to be back up and producing within a few months.
What?! I'm calling BS. It's covid. The fact that the spike in gun sales happened right as factories shut down because of the lock down emptied reserves and put suppliers behind.
Since everyone knows theres a shortage ammo, instead of me goin to the range and buying a couple of boxes, I go to the store and if i see 5 boxes i buy them all just in case. Multiply that by thousands of gun users and then add in all the new gun owners you create a shortage. Don't get conspiratorial.
