The Talmud isn’t the Jews holy book, it is not what directs the faith, and it is not what is worshipped or read from every Friday night.
Stop trying to give it more importance than it actually has. The Talmud isn’t like the multiple books of Islam; there is only one holy book in Judaism and that’s the Torah.
