You're not really missing out. It's a overly preachy novel series that modernizes the Tribulation, but with many liberties taken in the accuracy dept. Good for a fiction novel, but not for anyone looking for religious truth.
I just meant for a good read to kill time between driving my kid around for training and practices. Have long given up tv as entertainment, can't take my sewing with me everywhere, and want to reduce my online phone time.
Never heard of those books but may need to check them out.
