HIPAA, like all laws now, are null and void.
A law is only as good as the consequences involved in breaking it.
If the consequence is jail and no one is jailed, there is no law.
If the consequence is jail and those who break it don’t go to jail and get million dollar book deals, it’s a clown world law.
If the consequence is fines but no one is fined, there is no law.
If the consequence is fines, but the government pays you a 100% forgivable loan instead, it’s a clown world law.
