I do trust science, in so far as the scientific method is the best tool humanity has for developing an understanding of the world around us. I just don't trust scientists. Scientists are fallible people with biases and agendas. Bad scientists lead to bad science, and I'm not just going to blindly trust what someone says because they have a white lab coat and a PhD.

Saying "Trust Science" is as asinine and dangerous as saying "Believe Women".

Not to mention the Reproducibility Crisis, the Hiding of Methodology and Data years after an experiment concludes, and the notorious P-hacking. Usually tax-payer funded science, too.

Mostly to preserve Grant money and generate Prestige.
