True dat. I lived in Laramie for 3 years and loved it for everything it didn't have. The Amtrak runs through Laramie, but it only takes you into or out of town.
Once I was in Vegas with ex-Mr. Trilby and a guy struck up a conversation, asking where we lived. Ex-hubby said Wyoming and they guy said "There's nothing there!" And Ex said "That's what's good about it!"
It's very beautiful, btw.
While I lived there the state was looking for a new slogan. I proposed these:
"Wyoming-- it's not for everyone!"
"Wyoming-- a long way to the beach!"
"Wyoming-- Colorado's playground!"
That last one you'd understand if you lived in Laramie.
