I love Trump but talking shit now is worthless. While speaking of the supreme cunts not doing everything they could/should have, why didn't he sign the insurrection act? Not only that, he appointed 3 of those people to the supreme court that he's now bitching about.
I suspect he tried, but the military leadership is full of traitors, full stop.
Honestly, you have put all the blame on Trump's door. Hindsight is 20/20, but he should have gone scorched Earth from day one and burned down the Deep State. If one of his appointees didn't get it done, then replace them within 30 days. Keep going.
The Presidency has a lot of power, but Trump never used it. He thought he could work within the system. Then he thought he could do it in his second term. He was wrong.
The great irony is that, like Hillary, Trump never thought he could lose. Instead, he not only lost, we lost the entire country.
I'll take my downvotes, but I kind of hope this site eventually evolves toward facing the truth of Trump's complete failure, so we can hopefully start building towards better strategy.
That would be most ideal. The hero worship here is pretty disappointing. Scorched earth should have been exactly what he did, as I don't believe there is any federal system left uncorrupted. He should have gutted everything he possibly could, then set about fixing it. Maybe that's too much for even two terms.
