Sounds like a great excuse to take some sick days, without actually having to BE sick.

"Uh, yeah, boss, I'm getting the vaccine."

Next day: "Uh, boss, I can't make it in, I've got horrible Wu flu like symptoms. Probably won't make it in the rest of the week, OK? But hey, I'm doing my part!"
