I didn't have many liberal friends but I did have some family members. I've talked to a couple of them. Some of them have completely abandoned communication and I don't plan on reaching out to them. Anyone dumb enough to think things are going good right now are not worth my time at this point. From what I've heard, every single one of them has gotten their vaccines too.
We had one a aunt who ruined Thanksgiving after Trump won with her Democrat whining. She was made to leave and no one else in the family had spoken to her since.

Once upon a time it was okay to have different opinions, or to believe different politically. Not the case anymore. The crazy thing is that a lot of my relatives who are hard core democrats aren't stupid people. I can't fathom how they align with the current political points being pushed. I think they are just completely brainwashed at this point. Or, they just couldn't stand Trump because he was blunt and told it like it was.
