They aren't ashamed of themselves. Not at all. That would require honest introspection and rational thought about the state of society. They don't do that. Psychologically, I'm not sure they even can. It literally takes a come to Jesus type change to admit you are that wrong about reality. Sure, talk to them. But more importantly, pray for them.
