The Japanese committed far worse atrocities compared to the Germans, it's not even close. The Russians murdered far more than both the Japanese and Germans combined. The United States fire bombed Tokyo and dropped Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which I would easily argue was more evil than the ONE death camp the Germans ran.
How evil they were compared to other evils, doesn’t matter, they were evil.
The allies didn’t start the war but any historian worth more than a wiki page will freely admit that Japan was not going to surrender until they were looking at the complete and utter destruction of their people and culture.
Germany had to be completely over run before they finally threw in the towel.
