Wrong. Taxing the rich is not how you get ahead. That's a leftist talking point. It doesn't work. The solution is to stop taxing people, period.
The issue with the "rich" in America and western civilization is not that they are rich, it's that they aren't working for the country. What you need is a nationalistic government that ensures the profits from rich people go toward benefiting the country rather than going toward enhancing the wealth of the elite by hurting the country and benefiting some other country.
The issue is nationalism vs. globalism. You need less taxes and a highly nationalistic government and economic policy. That way the gains from rich people stay in the country.
Charities should not be tax exempt though. Absolutely NOTHING should be tax exempt. The correct tax rate is a flat tax rate with 0 loopholes or tax breaks and 0 subsidies. Use tariffs and capital controls to enforce nationalistic policies.
The problem is these guys are so wealthy they’re getting to be more powerful than our government. That should never be allowed to happen in a stable society. Wealthy enough to enact change is fine, wealthy enough to topple governments is the problem we have right now though.
