I really wish I studied chemistry instead of physics. Understanding motion is basically irrelevant, at least in my line of work. Fertilizer as an explosive on the other hand..... Lol
You don't need a formal education in chemistry to do this stuff. Ever bake anything, the process is easily more involved than making something that doesn't need heating and such exact measurements as a half teaspoon of x to 2 cups sifted y.
