Honestly if you didn't watch the news, 99% of people would never know there's a pandemic because they and everyone they know isn't sick and if they did get sick it was no worse than a normal cold. Even taking the inflated figures, less than 0.2% of the US died from COVID. Hence why they won't let masks go. Its there to remind people that there's a pandemic so people don't start wondering why they still have their freedoms stripped away.

Reminds me of the other pede that posted about the Amish first obtaining herd immunity.

Discussion on how that happened because they don't use most modern amenities, and the response was, "They don't watch TV."
