They don't need school. All they need is 6 hours a day to become talented enough at one thing so that they can take that one thing and do it for a living. Me for example, I play poker. You don't need a diploma to go to a cardroom. You don't need a degree to step foot in a casino. All you need is talent and the time necessary to become talented.
Teach your boy how to swing a baseball bat. Teach your girl how to dance or play guitar. You do not know everyone's situation. It's also an absolute fact that public schools are not all created equal, and the amount of BS varies VASTLY depending on where you live. Another thing parents can do is stand up against bullshit. The parents where I live have done so many times with success.
In closing, keep your hypothetical thoughts about what you would do if you actually had any kids to yourself... especially if you're going to couple it with a ridiculous assertion that you know what's best for everyone else too.
