First, Revelations 13:7: "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."

Second, Revelations 12:12: "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knowth that he hath but a short time.

'Who wrote the book of Ecclesiastes?'

"The author:

It is a general consensus of who wrote the book of Ecclesiastes is that of King Solomon. The phrase, “son of David, king in Jerusalem” (Ecclesiastes 1:1), is an evidence supporting Solomon as its author. It is also the undisputed opinion of all scholars that Solomon wrote Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon."

While I appreciate Ecclesiastes and the other books purportedly written by King Solomon, one should be aware that Solomon was regarded as the most powerful magician of all time. Practicing in Jewish mysticism or what is known as the Kabbalah. This was Magick passed down to man directly from the fallen angels. So I wouldn't be too quick to use his writings to undermine End Times prophesy or the Book of Revelation.
