Yeah as much as I dislike the anti Jew stuff I see in true free speech forums it’s a reminder that it is indeed free. No way Trumps platform would allow that. Free speech is more important than Trump and his support of things like the ADL would absolutely stifle free speech.

I want Trump to become rich off of it.

You spelled "richer" wrong.

If he's got a product that people and advertisers are willing to pay for, more power to him and The Trump Org. If he wants to run for office again, which we all hope he does, he may run afoul of FEC regulations.

Imagine how bat-shit people here would be if Jack Dorsey decided to run for Governor of California.

A competitor bashing his competition. I thought this was a forum for serious Trump supporters?!

What competitor? Gab has two main competitors - Twitter and Facebook. Trump's not even in the game.

I guarantee Trump has a shit-ton of respect for Torba for holding his ground, and so do I.

I am a very serious Trump supporter, but if his people came into my little town and wanted to take over my local bar? Not thanks.

I'm gonna join. Torba is gonna be competitive and I don't blame him. However his crybaby stance of the 40% offer was a solid deal. Trump would bring 70 million plus to join. Gab brings value in it's own way and I will continue to use it as well as Trumps new platform.

There's something to be said for Torba's independence.

Right now he's beholden to people who voluntarily send him money.

Turning down tens of millions is based, IMO.

Torba is based but he is also looking out for Torba. Turning down millions from a VC is smart. Turning down Trump....could be viewed differently in 12 months. Remember, nobody but Torba targeted conservatives until Trump came along. He essentially created his own competition. Will see how it plays out but I will always support Torba.

Torba is looking out for Torba. Trump is looking out for Trump. That's it in a nutshell.

Both men have a true love of the free market. There may be room for both in that market, which would be great.

The way I see it is that Trump resulted in social media censoring conservative voices. I think that's where Torba saw the opportunity, as opposed to hitching his wagon to Trump's popularity.

I'll also continue to support both Torba and Trump.

Trump and Torba have a lot in common. Trump didn't run for president to become wealthy. he actually lost a fortune.

Torba is cut from the same cloth. He has a lot of money and who knows how much the Gab venture is costing him?

These are both men of principle, and I have deep respect for both of them.

I won't knock it until it is introduced, but I won't embrace it either.

Patriots.win and Gab work very well for lots of us right now. If a Trump product fills a void, that'll be great.
