Not to say it is not absolutely true. But this comic isn't nailing that particular point home. In fact it isn't really nailing any point home. Kind of ambiguous and confusing. And that is coming from someone highly open to abstract interpretations.
The other point being made is that they fought to desegregate and now are fighting to be segregated. That’s why the second one is like “YAY BLACKS ONLY” kind of style on the sign. That’s the reality of now.

The panel on the left shows blacks peacefully protesting a situation they wholeheartedly deem unfair. The panel on the right reflects the fact that all these woke companies are already catering to these people. Companies like Nike, coke, dicks yatta yatta calling for 'diversity ' teaching white people that work for them that they are complete garbage.
To me the right panel signifies that while they are getting all the support they want they are even more violent as if running the last leg of the race. What that tells me is that it is not about equality at all. It's about contempt for the race of people they have been taught to hate from birth. Furthermore, they are blind to the support they actually do have and want a complete 'poc' utopia where you become the slave and don't even notice the privileges over other they are granted. By the water fountain gleaming with black privilege they actually do have they ignore the fact that they actually have it.
