Also Reagan was an amazing person- I didn't live it but had a fascination and saw probably all his great speeches and his wit. He said all the right things, seemingly.
Yet his immigration control act legalized millions of people from an alien culture an easy target to promise gibs if you just vote D. The border was never secured just more pouring in. It flipped CA from red to blue permanently. Demographic change is no different than a foreign invasion taking over your capital executing your gov and installing their own. Politicians start pandering to them instead of you, they dilute your vote, they take your money and give it to them and they don't even need to work for it!
