i have crypto. starting to stack mypatriot supplies. have 1 gun about to purchase another.
conflicted about what else i can be doing to make sure i'm not left with my usless fiat currency when shit hits the fan.
also what is your predication for when the inflation is going to start kicking in heavy.
Precious metals, specifically lead. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have your ham license.
I've pulled all my fiat investments into conservative holdings. If all hell does break loose then government bonds could go up while they borrow money to sustain. I've got my main account into a robo-investor that has 40% stock and am ready to go to 20%.I do have crypto as well, just HODL'n onto $BTC. If there's a rush into crypto that's the first stop.
I think it all starts in June. There are a lot of dominoes ready to start falling, the first will be real estate. Government mandated moratoriums on evictions has caused record low inventory, record high prices, and record high forbearance.
Once the moratorium ends take a wild guess what happens? People that owe back rent and mortgages will be held to account, inventory will skyrocket, prices will go into free fall. Mark my words, it starts in San Francisco. There is no reason to be there, all the techbro's are working from home, bars are closed, people are going other places. It'll fall hardest there first because the buyers have left.
Once housing starts to crumble, other types of forbearance will surface. Specifically student loans, that's why lefties want to forgive those loans. At this point it'll be a bloodbath.
I've got a few hundred grand saved up, my house is about paid off. I'm ready to buy up property when it's at a 50% discount. I might lose some fiat, but I'll make up for it in land.
this is a good prediction! I would recommend not holding that much fiat, because the inflation will cause the value to crumble. maybe into crypto or metals until you are ready to buy then switch it back.
I've got about 1 $BTC ($60k) in crypto, I'm less worried about fiat crashing overnight than the rest. I can move fiat pretty quickly, moving property takes much longer. I'm in escrow with one of my properties so I'll have that cash on hand here pretty soon.
the hyperinflation is going to hit fast. and you don't want to be stuck with the masses tryna move money. js
