Doubtful. It's not as if people were forced out because they were outgunned or they lost some sort of standoff. They had no real goal in the first place.
What would have made a difference is Trump telling them to hold the building until the fraud was fixed instead of to peacefully go home. Then guns would have been helpful.
If they were armed and motivated they could have held the ground and made demands (election cases heard in court, mail in ballot audits ect)
and forced either an armed response or mediation from the government either of which would have been a better outcome than the absolutely nothing that was gained.
I don't disagree, I'm just saying it's the "and motivated" part that was missing. The President told everyone to go home. He'd probably have said it much sooner and with more urgency if everyone had guns.

yeah that was the big let down. That was President Trumps moment to grab history by the horns.
But he doesn't have it in him to wage a civil war it seems
