Just look at the Rio Grand vote for Trump in 2020. There are counties in Texas along the Rio Grand that are 90% Democrat (the most Democrat Counties in the entire Nation - and these counties are also 80-90% Mexi-American.... and they either went for Trump - or the VOTE gains by Trump 2020 over Trump 2016 were MASSIVE SWINGS... 40% or more.
Immigrants WANT FREEDOM, more than they want Socialism.
The trick long term will be - do the illegals want 'free stuff over Freedom? That is a choice Black America made back in the 1930's and 1940's after FDR invented the 'Free Stuff' concept and Black America which had voted Republican over 90% since the Civil WAR and Slavery Freedom - began voting for Democrats and Free Stuff.
Those are tiny gains. The biggest one is with Asians, and he still only got 34% of their votes. He simped pretty hard for blacks and Hispanics to get these meager gains, too.

Also, it is momentum. He increased the black vote by 50%. If he did another 50% in four more years, it would be 18%. Democrats can't win with that high of a black vote for Republicans.
You're ignoring the cost of that. Trump constantly bragged about black unemployment being low (has he ever even mentioned white people at all in his public life?) and let a bunch of violent blacks out of prison and wanted to give them a ton of gibs. That's bad policy and barely moved the needle. Also, there are more whites than any of these other groups so that 4% increase in black votes is smaller than a 4% increase in white votes.
There were also a lot of unregistered white voters without college degrees in states like Wisconsin that his campaign could have attempted to mobilize. That was one of his strongest demographics.
I saw a guy on Infowars who stated some of his neighbors are illegals who have lived in our country for years. He said even his illegal neighbors are pissed about the border.
