Kudos to you and your lovely, fearless family!!! The only two times I visited Oregon were in 2011 - summer and then October - when a brother's 2nd wife WAS succumbing and then DID succumb to cancer (they lived in Scappoose). STUNNINGLY beautiful state and with all the crazy crap going down out there and your insane state government, more power to you to keep fighting this battle. It literally pained/pains me to see Oregon in flames, literally. I know what it's like battling The Herd as, being the youngest of 7, caregived back in the hometown (unpaid) for the ailing parents, both deceased within 3 weeks of another in late 2020, and now sole executor/personal representative, and ONLY conservative now. It's literally like being trapped on The View on a daily basis. EXHAUSTING.
