This is how MIGTOW got started. Awake as fuck and alone because the girls would never believe that someone like Katy Perry was a satanic priestess until they saw her on stage with Hillary Clinton
Between her and Lady Gaga, it felt like all the great music I'd remembered in the 90s and the decade after were slowly being drowned out by utter stupidity. Alternative and grunge gradually died, being replaced by pop songs that would make a prostitute blush. I found myself listening to the "harder" Rock and Alternative stations just to get away from it. (Though with that you get a lot of drug songs and generally whiney songs.)
For a while I wondered if it was just a sign I was "getting old". (Because I hated the new music.) Though, if all big problems are generational, we might be stuck with the annoying music for a while.
All the good music vanished from the mainstream in the 2000's. Bands like the "The National" were completely hidden from view. If they would have been out in the 90's, they would have been a lot bigger.
