My brother took the red pill last year and it hit him hard. He had a literal mental break down. It's understandable. You go 25+ years thinking you have a good grasp on life, only to be blind sided by the fact that everything you've known has been a lie. It's a feeling of helplessness, and a huge shock.
He is now alcohol, and drug free, goes to church every Sunday. He plays in the worship band, met a good God fearing woman and has found is grounding in this crazy world we live in.
Ultimately be there for these people. Some go through it a bit easier then others. It's important to remember that during those times people waking up need to know they're not alone.

As messed up as things are right now, having so much good company now is almost worth it. It really was lonely for a long time.

That’s awesome, I think people that find faith later end up super based because they see what going along with secular ways has robbed from them.
