"White people" is a racist and derogatory term that should be eliminated. As a white person I demand that I be referred to as a "person of white" this new term will be more inclusive and acceptable and will help bridge the gap. I'm not sure what gap needs to be bridged, but as soon as it is defined we will all be better for it. Everyone should use the term "person of white" until, that to is deemed offensive. You will not be made aware of when this will happen beforehand, otherwise I would not be able to use your words as proof of hate speech towards us oppressed people of less pigmented skin. Thank you.
