No we are their red neighbors. Why do MN drive to AZ in the winter? They got vacation homes there or something?

Snowbirds... retirees spend summer months in MN and winter in Az.. That way they avoid the cold here in winter, and the summer heat in AZ

Not necessarily.. Az is fairly cheap for rent and such from what i hear. A lot of folks will set their base in Az and travel the 4 corners for all the National Parks and scenery. Guessing you are in New Mexico, not sure i have ever heard of a Minnesotan traveling there honestly. If you are in Nevada, that is a popular place for Minnesotans as well. Laughlin, NV is named after a Minnesotan who went out there and invested in slot machines..
