I'd like to start a campaign to influence retailers to carry and highlight "Made In USA" products. A lot of websites obfuscate the Country of Origin and don't list that info on the product details page, nor do they allow for filtering by Country of Origin so that we can view only American-made products.
In order to influence retailers to carry more American-made products, we need to encourage them to take pride in carrying "Made In USA." Below is a short message you can use to provide feedback.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my feedback. As a hard-working American, I want to support other Americans by buying "Made In USA." Your website doesn't show the Country of Origin on product pages, nor can I filter to see only American-made products. I encourage you to take pride in the American worker and both make those changes to your website and carry more "Made In USA" products. I only buy American, and I ask that you carry more American-made products. Give American workers a chance by giving your American customers that choice.
The first retailer I'd like to campaign for is Home Depot. I think they'd be more receptive to updating their website and stores.

Will you help? A single phone call can go a long way.
You have no idea how appreciate your post. I don't own an American company neither I'm a factory worker, I'm just a simple citizen who believes that the main way to destroy China is stop buying their products. I'm fighting that everyday. In fact, I just returned an "Original factory part" to the seller because is an American brand, they promised genuine parts but when the part arrived I found in the label "Made in China", so I started the return process, I explained them that they have to put in the website that the part is imported, they didn't, so I purchased a genuine American car brand, expecting an American made part, but they sent me a Made in China part, they rejected my return process, because they don't accept electrical parts back. I wrote to PayPal and I explained them what happened, they fought for me and they refunded me the whole amount. To win a war, you don’t necessarily need to use weapons. They won this battle; we need to win the war. How? Little by little, if we stop buying Made in China or Made in PRC products, we’ll win, they will fall. “I have no other options”, “I couldn’t find where is made”, “I want the product tomorrow, I had no way to find that”, etc, my friends are telling me all those excuses every time I ask them to boycott China. We need to put the future of our family and our country as a priority, not our happiness or satisfaction to have a product, a thing. I understand, there are some things that we have no choice (a computer, a phone, a car part) but most of the products we buy may have an alternative. The problem is that we are spoiled; we want everything “right now” or we want everything at the lowest price, so we don’t take the time to do a research. I discover that if we go to the basics, to a store and check the product in person, we can find very easy where is made. Or we can inquire directly the factory, by phone, by email. We can go to garage sales, online used products or brand new like EBay, look for local stores or last option, just don’t buy something that you necessarily need. Other people say: “USA Made products are more expensive”, “I can’t afford to buy American made things” etc. I also understand that, but I have some examples to answer that. I prefer to spent more money in a pair of shoes Made in USA or Made in EU who are going to last longer that 2 or 3 pairs of Chinese shoes. I’d rather pay more to buy a DeWalt Made in USA drill who employs people in South Carolina, that buying a DeWalt Made in China drill who employs who knows who. And if DeWalt find that most people are buying more products Made in USA, they will move factories here. Worst case scenario, I’d rather buy Made in Mexico or Made in South Korea or wherever other country except China. I know, it takes more time, but remember, our happiness goes to second level, this is like a conventional war without weapons and violence, but we need to fight day by day, step by step. We need to bring Americans factories back here if possible, out of China and destroy economically the ones who stay in China. We need to let them know that we don’t agree to have China taken over our country! If millions of us act in this way, the Chinese economy will fall.
DO NOT BUY MADE IN CHINA OR MADE IN PRC PRODUCTS
Can't trust made in Italy stuff out of the textile industry. They import Chinese labor so it can be made cheap and still say Made in Italy.
Yes, but take in consideration that it can happen here too, 'Made in USA with foreign materials" that means, some of the parts were preassembled or pre manufactured somewhere else.
I agree, it happens here, though the law does at least stop companies from putting the "Made in USA" label on stuff w/o a significant percentage of the parts being made in the US.
