The SPLC provides information about hate groups to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and many other law enforcement agencies.

The FBI dropped SPLC as its hate crimes resource back in 2014. When did that change? And if it hasn't, why didn't the FBI drop the SPLC for everything else, instead of just the hate crime stuff? https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2014/03/26/fbi-dumps-southern-poverty-law-center/

This. That was one of the best decisions the FBM made in recent years given how overtly silly and clearly partisan the SPLC was with their designations. When did they start using them again?
