Nelson made a great point for acquittal using this argument, but judge denied it from what I saw this morning. Still comes down to jury at this point. After current riots with no sequester, I worry the jury won't be completely fair, we'll see. board up your windows either way!

The judge decided right with no sequester. My take is that if the jurors feel threatened, they are more likely to go guilty. Sequestering would give them the feeling that they need to watch their backs for the rest of their lives.. Think of all the old mob cases, where people were threatened. This is what BLM is trying to do, scare everybody into submission.

That is very true and I agree. I hadn't thought of it that way and that makes a lot of sense as to what the Judge was probably thinking. Thank you for the response

I hope not, but this is clown world after all. Justice isn't blind and you're now guilty until proven innocent (if you're white), honkhonk

Nope. There are two aged black men on that jury. Those guys have no time for bullshit. They will at least hang the jury.

I think he's got a great defense team and they did get an opportunity just as the prosecution to decline a number of jurors from the panel. Every jury trial is like this and if the defense did a good job in jury selection, there should get a few good ones on there.

They have to enter a fortified compound surrounded by armed guards every morning. They 100% feel threatened already.
