Start with a comprehensive, concrete pledge that that all Republicans must sign if they want to win their primary - pretty much saying that they will vote NO on everything except bills that repeal former bills.

We've talked about a MAGA Pledge on here before. Absent an enforcement mechanism, it's not very effective, but it might help out the Precinct Project.

It's a whole lot better than nothing. It reduces politicians' ability to vote against their supporters' interests, and then claim innocence / good intentions afterwards (i.e. commit fraud).

Republican voters give their representatives far too much leeway in how they vote once elected. They spew vague bullshit and bromides because primary voters tolerate it.

Also it serves as a way for Republican voters to actually come to a consensus on what they actually want. There is far too much disagreement and ignorance, even on this forum, about what policies and laws should be supported.

I'm working with some of the grass roots groups on their messaging. It is indeed hard to find consensus on all of the policies, so you keep it simple; just a few universal principles, but it's still a challenge.

For example; I won't support anyone who doesn't support the reduction of the Federal Gov't's power. Not many candidates for national office will be willing to sign that.
