Shasta is good too!

I don't tend to drink soda, especially colas, but when I do...it's RC!

(or the generic stuff at the stores...why pay through the nose for fizzy sugar water that really isn't good for you?)

O_A_N 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't drink sodas anymore (partially due to bottle deposit tax in MI), but the rare time I do it's Pepsi throwback with sugar.

Onemoretime11 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't either, I usually only buy soft drinks when my kids are home for a visit.

I like RC, ginger ale/ginger beer, and root beer, although I've never been in love with it -- but soda isn't good for me, so I stay away from it (and I hate diet soda, so no temptation). And I'm presently in negotiations with my husband (who loves the stuff).

the local grocery keeps selling out of 2 liter RC cola.

Soft drink consumption has been going down in America for years now. It's actually on the rise in Mexico and, you guessed it, China.

Sweet Tea is Back in the South!

EvanWithDaSpice 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you don’t drink a half gallon of ST a day, I just can’t sit around and chill with ya, because I’m gonna drink the other half gallon

1
NotAPuma 1 point ago +1 / -0

Facts, Sweet Tea is required by our Genetic Code now.

In California it's semen.

Local Kroger has generic brand not made by Coke - completely SOLD OUT - the Coke aisle - full pallets just sitting there...

Vino 1 point ago +1 / -0

All over South Dallas too. All my Walmart had was Pepsi cola /w real sugar, that I had to crawl to get. Really good, highly recommend!

Badwubs 13 points ago +13 / -0

Good to see, still saddnes me they took fanta with em, those glass bottle fanta were the only soda I drank :(

refresco 8 points ago +8 / -0

I buy Moxie once or twice a year when I see it. Have maybe one Dr. Pepper a month. Mostly drink grocery store brand ginger beer with cocktails. Other than that my soda purchases are treats for the kids. Usually we'll do pizza and soda on a weekend night. Not hard to avoid Coke for that. The kids arent addicted to it, so it's all good to them. More craft root beers will be bought, lol.

It's all trash anyway

monkeycat2010 6 points ago +6 / -0

Agreed. I have been a rabid Coke/Diet Coke consumer all of my 55 years.

Since I was told that half of my heritage (I'm also Hispanic) was garbage, I tossed my diet coke and replaced it with Diet Pepsi.

I now buy only Diet Pepsi fountain drinks, and realistically, it JUST TASTES BETTER. Should have done this a long time ago.

Thanks, COKE. Awesome Marketing!

PalmettoPatriot 5 points ago +5 / -0

Was gonna buy monster but was reminded coke owns them. No $ to people who hate us!

2
Vino 2 points ago +2 / -0

Michael Savage's son owns Rockstar. Started it from the ground up. He also told coke/monster to go fuck themselves over advertising disagreements, if I'm not mistaken.

Buy Diet Shasta. TempleOS baby!!!!!!

niconicoreeee 5 points ago +5 / -0

less american belly fat, the better!

psychofilly1 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm a die hard Diet Coke girl. I try to limit my soft drinks, period, but get a jonesing if i go too long without one. I've been drinking DP Zero or iced tea and dealing with it.

2
Pede3 2 points ago +2 / -0

Try flavored seltzer water, like Polar/La Croix/generic brand. That is probably the closest to diet soda, but no fake sugars.

I replaced most of my diet soda addiction with unsweetened tea. I like coffee as well, but can't do more than 1 caffienated/day.

2
psychofilly1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks, I like LaCroix, Topo Chico and HEB flavored waters, I can drink tea both sweet or unsweet (But use sucralose for sweetener) and also drink coffee and hot tea. I still sometimes just have to have a soda, but it's getting better.

watchman4u 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sweet Tea for the win use Stevia to sweeten it.

4
Gerbaski 4 points ago +4 / -0

I actually noticed the same at my local gas station the other day. Hardly any Pepsi or Dr. Pepper but a shitload of coke products.

2
Pede3 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pepsi is also super woke.

1
TacoScientist 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dr. Pepper is a coke product in some regions

1
MotherOf13Furbabies 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think Dr. Pepper is part of Go Brokeback Coke.

3
BurtMcGirt 3 points ago +3 / -0

RC was out, last week, at my supermarket. Had a few for $5.50 per 12 pack today. Coke was 3 for $10,I think. I still would have paid more for RC had I needed soda.

2
KuzoKevin [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

In my small town, nobody is talking about it but the local convenience store is low on Pepsi and there's an abundance of Coke.

3
watchman4u 3 points ago +3 / -0

Store up the road had to go buy Pepsi from big box store, people ain't buying the Coke products but are wiping out Pepsi products that made me smile seeing them unload the Pepsi from pickup trucks

3
Tagappliedfork 3 points ago +3 / -0

The pepsi plant in my area does round the clock production. The issue is with having enough people to fill shelves, sales reps willing to gamble on this lasting by ordering heavy, enough room for the merchandise in stores, and transportation to move the extra load of product.

2
wethedownvoted 2 points ago +4 / -2

people probably don't remember around the beginning of Trump's admin there was all this talk about companies holding cash.

they don't need to make a profit from operations anymore, the interest from treasuries can keep them afloat for the rest of eternity.

i wonder if such a corporate structure might favor politicians that promises to issue more debt

3
WhiskeyDreams 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ah yes. The treasuries that pay .01% a year. Just think of all the cash flow.

2
WishdoctorsSong 2 points ago +2 / -0

Kinda like how old universities like Harvard don't need to make anything on tuition. At this point they're 400 year old hedge funds that run a marxist training camp on the side.

2
UnitedStatesofSmash 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only thing I drink aside from the occasional whiskey is sweet tea and diet pepsi every so often. Other than that it's water/Propel (cause electrolytes. They're what plants crave!).

2
Data 2 points ago +2 / -0

I never drank many Coke products before, but now I go out of my way to avoid them because of their dumbshit racist corporate policy. I'm sure Pepsi is just as bad, but they haven't gone out of their way to advertise how much they hate me as a customer (yet).

2
KuzoKevin [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

RC Cola, or my favorite - Dr. Pepper.

2
Shaffro 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't drinks sodas but if I did it wouldn't ever be Coke or any of their other products. Break those bastards.

I'm actually surprised that they've managed to challenge the Proctor and Gamble Gillette "masculinity is toxic" ad campaign.

2
Exoda 2 points ago +2 / -0

It sucks cause I like the zero sugar powerade, but I am now buying Gatorade. It taste worse and cost more. But it is about sending a message, so I will suck it up.

1
DragonEnergy2 1 point ago +1 / -0

In the short term Wokacola will shrug the embargo off. To work, an embargo needs to be a long term death of a thousand cuts trans-generational thing.

1
BS2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

ME TOO lol. I liked Coke's Powerade, but not THAT much. Don't buy it anymore. Pure and simple, plenty of other choices!

1
MythArcana 1 point ago +1 / -0

I saw a Hispanic couple purchase 36 twelve pack cans the other day. It's the only thing they bought.

1
operatorstorm712 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good

1
Jonald_Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

PepsiCo says the SAME THINGS just not in public statements...yet. Internally they’re high on anti-white racism.

Curious to know how much short selling was going on before this happened? The CEO of Coke isn't American. Maybe these corporate CEOs and their buddies know there will be huge collapse in the stock market. This maybe a cover for them to dump stock. Or maybe the CEOs of woke companies are just retarded.

Ok, what can I substitute in my Jack and Coke, for Coke that is?! If Jack Daniels goes woke, there really won't be anything worth saving!

2
I_lurk_u_long_time 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pepsi is a little too sweet for this. The store brand cola from Food Lion is pretty nice with Jack. I haven't tried RC or other store brands.

Thanks, I will have to make the sacrifice and conduct tastings!😆
